Is door reinforcement as effective as a security door?

For most flats, yes. Reinforcement strengthens your existing door with steel, anti-pry strips and a multi-point lock, for a very high level of resistance at a controlled cost. A full security door remains the reference when the original door is too weak or for maximum protection.

What is A2P certification?

It is the reference label certifying a lock’s or door’s resistance to break-in attempts, measured in minutes. A2P *, ** or *** correspond to increasing levels of resistance. We only fit certified equipment.

Can I have a rented door reinforced?

Yes, often with reversible solutions (bars, cylinder guards, additional locks). The property manager’s approval is recommended for major changes; we advise you on the right steps.
