What affects the price of a job
Door slammed shut or locked: a slammed door opens in minutes; a double-locked door takes more work.
Type of lock and cylinder: a standard cylinder does not cost the same as an A2P-certified multi-point lock.
Time of day: nights, weekends and public holidays carry a surcharge, always included in the amount announced upfront.
Hardware needed: repair, cylinder replacement or a complete lock.
Temporary or permanent securing after a break-in.
Repair rather than replace, whenever possible
A complete replacement is not automatic: if a repair or a simple cylinder replacement restores your security for the long term, that is what we propose. A craftsman’s reflex: change only what is necessary.
Insurance and break-ins
After a burglary, securing and sometimes door reinforcement may be covered by your household insurance, provided a police report is filed. We supply the quote, an itemised invoice and photos for your file.
