Door reinforcement: strengthen your door against break-ins

The front door is a burglar’s first target: most break-ins happen through the door. Steel reinforcement is the most effective way to protect it without having to replace it. We strengthen your existing door to make it extremely resistant, while keeping its appearance and the way it works.

What does door reinforcement involve?

Reinforcing a door means cladding and strengthening it with several elements which, together, remove its weak points:

A steel plate fitted to the door leaf, which prevents drilling and sawing.
Anti-pry strips around the edge, which stop a crowbar getting between the door and the frame · the most common break-in technique.
An A2P-certified multi-point lock, which locks the door at 3, 5 or 7 points instead of one.
A cylinder guard and hinge-side protection on the hinges.
The result: a door that withstands a break-in attempt for several minutes, where a standard door gives way in seconds. And a burglar who cannot get in within 3 to 5 minutes gives up in the vast majority of cases.

Flat reinforcement or pivot reinforcement?

Flat reinforcement
Strengthens the existing door leaf: ideal for most flats and excellent protection for the money.
Pivot reinforcement (block type)
Strengthens both the leaf and the frame for even greater resistance, recommended for ground floors and exposed doors.
